In order to improve the bonding strenght and physical and medical properties of wet gel and vulcanizate,most nitrile latex are modified with third-party monomers containing carboxyl groups during copolymerization.

Commonly used carboxly monomers include acrylic acid and methacrylic acid.

Carboxylic Nitrile latex can significantly improve the mechanical, oil resistence and aging resistance of latex.
